“Sing Like You Mean It” was written to be sung for children or by children whose tessitura falls between E4 and A4
and whose total vocal range falls between C#4 and D5. It was also written to engage children with clave-based rhythms
and with the folk music and culture of the West Indies. The lyrics were written to demonstrate the value of incorporating
the power of song into various aspects of our daily lives. A piano/vocal/guitar part plus lead sheet us available at
